£40 plus VAT (normal price £45) if you book through Northwoods. This one-day course is HSE Approved and tailored specifically towards those working in forestry and arboriculture. The course is delivered by ABC Response who specialise in first aid training for extreme environments. The course covers:
- Assessing situations and taking appropriate action
- Artificial ventilations and chest compressions
- Unconscious casualty (including recovery position)
- Shock & Anaphylaxis
- Wounds and bleeding
- Traumatic amputations
- Crush injuries
- Nosebleeds, breaks, bumps and bruises
- Burns
- Head injury
- Eye injuries
- Choking
- Requirements of a first aid kit
