An initial course for inexperienced operators of chainsaws who wish to maintain and operate a chainsaw for crosscutting. Felling, snedding and takedown of trees at an effective diameter between 200mm and 380mm (8 and 15”).  This course is physical in nature and requires the carrying and movement of items in a woodland forest environment.

Duration 5 days + Assessment, Min age 16 years.
