The workshop is for up to 40 rural citizens and partner organisations.  NERAF will be summarising the mood of the meeting into a note for the regional public bodies to use in discussions with government departments and the rural minister.  NERAF wants to convey the hopes and fears of the NE rural community post budget and prior to the Autumn CSR.

In addition NERAF wants to be able to champion the north East rural communities by putting forward examples of transferable best practice where rural communities have provided model solutions to rural issues or problems.

The workshop is for sharing what you know about what is being said and is going on and it will take the form of facilitated discussions in syndicated groups.  Those that sign up will be asked to do some preparation work before the event.
