RDPE bioeNErgy success story

Unthank Estate, based in Northumberland, was awarded over £17,000 through the RDPE bioeNErgy support programme to help transform its business into a large scale firewood processing yard with the ultimate aim of increasing firewood supply in the local area.

The funding comes from Defra and the European Agricultural Fund for Rural Development (EAFRD) through the Rural Development Programme for England (RDPE) and is a part of Solutions for Business, the Government's package of publicly funded business support designed to help companies start and grow.  Please see the main project page for further information.
