Northwoods and RDI are pleased to be part of a new woodfuel training project – the Wood Energy Training Network (or WETNet for short).   Working with SAC Consulting and a range of other partners from across Europe including organisations from Austria, France, Finland, Estonia and Turkey.

The project will collect the most up to date information and best practice in training from all European Partners and will design and develop a European standard woodfuel training course, designed around woodfuel entreprenures. We do need input from the UK’s forestry and woodfuel sector to help us….

If you can spare 10 minutes, before the 27th of January, it would be much appreciated.

We are attempting to survey as many individuals involved in forestry and wood fuel supply from across the UK as possible to find out about training completed and any training you feel maybe beneficial in the future. This information will be used to help understand the current gaps in training provision, to develop a core curriculum and standard European training programme for energy entrepreneurs in Europe and to form a European wood energy training network.
