Sweden leads the way in firewood supply, firewood is often the sole source of heating in this, one of the coldest, European country. The Swedes have developed the firewood supply sector into a professional, sustainable and most importantly profitable industry, they have done this through experience and innovation throughout the whole supply chain.

The aim of the tour is to provide suppliers working in the Northumberland Uplands with the opportunity to gain firsthand experience of and the chance to question experienced Swedish equipment suppliers, firewood businesses and trade organisations and come away with fresh ideas for their businesses.

The cost of the trip including flights, transport in Sweden, accommodation, breakfast and evening meal is 75% subsidised by NULogs for those suppliers working in the Northumberland Uplands area, and will cost you approximately £300 + VAT.

However, it will be the responsibility of each individual to arrange their own travel insurance.
