This course covers the topics of managing woods and for what purpose, management planning, forest ecology, woodlands and water, the impacts of climate change, crop assessment, felling trees, harvesting and extraction, biosecurity and regulations.
This course is aimed at landowners, woodland managers and land agents with existing woodlands. It covers the topics of managing woods and for what purpose, management planning, forest ecology, woodlands and water, the impacts of climate change, crop assessment, felling trees, harvesting and extraction, biosecurity and regulations. A woodland will be visited to consider practical applications and this offers the opportunity to combine the theory and practical application of the requirements of woodland management in one succinct 7-hour session.

Course provider
Training will be provided by RDI Associates Ltd, Ripon, North Yorkshire, HG4 3LS. RDI Associates have been delivering training and events since its inception in 2006.
